Pesäkorttitutkimus
Tulospalvelu tarjoaa lajien karkean munalukutiedon eri vuosina ilmoitettujen pesäkorttien perusteella. Munalukutiedot perustuvat kaikkiin pesäkortteihin, joissa on ilmoitettu munatietoja, ja siten ne eivät ota huomioon onko pesässä muninta ollut vielä käynnissä vai onko munaluku lopullinen. Tulospalvelu antaa kuitenkin hyvän kuvan, kuinka monta munaa keskimäärin lajilla on pesässä. Vuosittaisiin munalukutietoihin ei tulisi kuitenkaan viitata tieteellisissä yhteyksissä, vaan aineisto vaatii tarkempaa analysointia.

This page provides rough statistics about clutch sizes of Finnish bird species based on nest card scheme. Clutch sizes shown here are based all reported cards, and thus nests where egg laying has been still continuing are not omitted. Thus final clutch sizes are likely larger than reported here. In addition these rough statistics do not take into account spatio-temporal changes in location of nest cards. Nevertheless, the statistics are showing the differences between species in clutch sizes. Annual statistics should not be used in scientific context. The data requires more sophisticated analysis.
